Tarot Card Pattern: The Hermit

Theme: Truth Seeking and Path Finding

Key 9: The Hermit: introspection, guidance, solitude

Key 18: The Moon: illusions, fear and anxiety, fantasy

How the Pattern is Found

The tarot keys that are included in the Pattern of The Hermit. Each of these cards can be broken down to a single prime number of 9, which relates it back to The Hermit.

 The Moon: Key 18

18= 1+8=9

Interpretation:

The Hermit is all about isolating and taking time to yourself for introspection. Especially the soul searching kind. It’s about finding your path that only you can find. People with this birth card have always been interested in this search.  Maybe you have found your way already, maybe not. Additionally, The Moon also symbolizes the finding of a path. The pathway of The Moon is through the illusions, to find the truth of the matter.

A person with these birth cards would be good at determining what is fake and what is real, similar to a very good lie detector.  They’re good because they are used to having to find their way through their own fantasies to determine what is truly real and what they’ve made up. Without a doubt, their imagination is strong and this is a blessing and a curse, as the fantasies about their path in life are easy to believe. Because of this, there can be confusion in life, which can lead you down the wrong path temporarily. As a result, this can lead to anxiety and fear about following or committing to a path.
