In tarot, the deck is split into two sections, the major arcana and the minor arcana. The first twenty two cards in the deck are the Major Arcana and the remining fifty six are the Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana tarot cards are aspects of the human soul on it’s journey from nothingness at the beginning to the end, where we become the highest spiritual being we can be and all areas in between. The Major Arcana cards are the cards that can show bigger life events or more impactful energies that are going on in a situation.
